Boarding

PFEC is a first class facility with all amenities for horses and owners to love to call home.
Horses are fed on schedule 2-3 times a day with high quality Triple Crown products and a weekly bran mash. Horses also receive T&A hay, and free choice on alfalfa in the winter months. Supplements can be added to feed at no charge each month.
Facilities include:

• 32 Matted 12x12 stalls with automatic waters, ceiling fans, and fly system
• 70 acres of grass pastures
• Individual tack lockers
• Hot/cold wash racks
• Lighted hunt area with show quality jumps and top rated footing.
• Lighted round pen
• Hot walker
• Grass Dressage arena

Horses also love being turned out on the 70 fertilized lush acres. Turnout is available seven days a week either in private paddocks or small groups. We also offer night turnout in summer months or day turnout in the winter months. Pastures are high and dry and contain special drainage systems.
All horses are on a strict worming schedule, being done every 6-8 weeks. This service can be done by yourself or staff can do this for a small charge. Vaccinations are also done on a timely schedule by the barn vet, Wendy Cusick. We require the following vacinations for each horse:

• EWT 3x year
• Strangles/rabies 1x year
• West Nile 2x year

Farrier service is also available Tuesdays of each week. Horses a generally regulated by rotations of every 4-6 weeks.

NEW! PFEC recently acquired Smoak Meadow Farm which is a 22 acre, brand new, private facility located directly across the street from the equestrian center. With 6 matted stalls, grooming stalls, a wash rack, riding arena and new 3 board fence, SMF is an ideal option for horse owners that would like high quality boarding on a smaller budget. Full care stall board is $450 per month and pasture board is $275. The owner lives on the premises and space is limited so contact us today!
